Jays Rating:

Arnold Schwarzenegger has been cranking out a lot of action movies since he left politics and his latest is a crime-action-suspense film titled, Sabotage. John “Breacher” Whardon (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is the leader of an elite DEA team that steals ten million dollars from a Mexican drug cartel safe house and hides it underground. The money disappears and members of the team begin dying in strange ways. This film is exactly what you would expect: tons of gun-play, violence, and lots of bad language. Surprisingly, Arnold’s language was fairly clean while the rest of the cast had the typical and frequently used “F” word in their dialogue. One good thing is Schwarzenegger’s acting and accent has improved in the movies since he was governor of California. (My wife said she could finally understand him.) The film actually has a good supporting cast with Sam Worthington, Josh Holloway, and Terrence Howard. I laughed at the nicknames of the team members: Grinder, Pyro, and Monster to name a few. (I was hoping to hear a nickname like Stinky, but…) This is a great “Who done it” suspense film that will make you keep your brain in gear while watching the DEA team sit around, cuss, and shoot at anything that moves. (Obviously I don’t know what they are shooting at.) This film isn’t anything really special but it is very entertaining for an hour and 45 minutes and I’m giving it a B- rating.
