We're The Millers

The term dysfunctional family has reached a new low in the comedy, We’re The Millers. When a small time pot dealer (Jason Sudeikis), has his drug money and stash stolen he makes a deal with his supplier (Ed Helms), to go to Mexico and bring a small amount of marijuana back across the border to pay off his debt. Realizing that families are not usually viewed as smugglers, he rents an RV and pays a stripper who lives in his apartment complex (Jennifer Aniston) to pretend to be his wife. He also convinces a runaway (Emma Roberts) to pretend to be his daughter and a loner (Will Toulter) to pretend to be his son. After an action filled trip with drug kingpins and DEA agents, they begin to act like a family. (Okay, maybe a strange family.) If you enjoy raunchy jokes, slapstick comedy, and Jennifer Aniston dancing in her underwear, you should enjoy this film. (Okay, maybe the guys will really like this one.) Even though Jennifer Aniston receives most of the attention, Jason Sudeikis holds this movie together and is the real star. This film has almost no hilarious scenes but the anticipated hit and miss jokes hit most of the time. Yes, there are some over the top moments that I could do without, but nowadays that’s what you’ll find in most comedy flicks. This is a good solid comedy and I’m giving it a B rating.
