Project X

If you are a guy between the ages of 18 and 24 there is a good chance you will want to run out and see the comedy Project X. Thomas Mann, Oliver Cooper and Jonathon Daniel Brown play 3 teenage boys who in the hopes to become popular and socially accepted have a party when one of the boy’s parents leaves town for the weekend. When one of the boys has the address of the party broadcast on the radio, publicized on Craigs list and basically tells the whole high school a few friends turn into over 1500 people who basically vandalize the house and destroy the neighborhood. Just so people don’t misunderstand the director of The Hangover Todd Phillips isn’t the director of this film he is the producer. Basically he has very little to do with it but with his name attached maybe they can sell a few more tickets. (Let’s hope not) The best way to describe this movie is take one of the crudest movies with nudity, drug use and also the usage of the F word and multiply it 5 times. (I’m not exaggerating) This movie does teach the young people that you can disregard other people’s property or anything you want and there are no consequences. (I thought doing what I want was becoming a blind movie critic but I must be missing something) I always try to find something good in every thing an some of the jokes in this movie like what can be found in the Jackass series were funny. This isn’t my type of film but I’m not in the demographic audience so maybe it isn’t as bad as I thought and I’ll give it a D rating.

This movie has been given a R rating by the MPAA

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
