Bridesmaids

The Hangover for women has been what some individuals have been calling Judd Apatow’s latest comedy Brides Maids. Kristen Wiig plays a woman who has just had a failed relationship and a business that went under when her best friend played by Maya Rudolph asks her to be the maid of honor at her wedding. Even though she is broke and rides around in an old car she has to plan all of the wedding festivities while meeting all of the bride’s maids she doesn’t even know and in one instance doesn’t want to know. (With no job at least she has plenty of time) This film is as hilarious as what you have heard and lives up to its reputation. Kristen Wiig from Saturday Night Live fame is fantastic and seems to be having fun with the rest of the cast. This film has its emotional moments but also crude one-liners and even body excrement jokes. That is why I like to describe this movie as a chick flick for guys even though it may have some scenes to raunchy for a couple men. (This film is definitely not too graphic for me since I can take gross out jokes and oh yeah, I’m blind anyway) The pacing is perfect for this comedy and I’m giving it a B rating.

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
