Kung Fu Panda
Fat, funny and furry is the best way to describe the animated film Kung Fu panda. Jack Black is the voice of a lazy overweight panda named Po who dreams of learning Kung Fu while working in his families noodle shop. When Po is accidentally designated the “Dragon Warrior” he begins his training by Master Shifu with the voice of Dustin Hoffman to fight the vengeful Snow Leopard. With names like Michael Clark Duncan, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan and Lucy Lou the film has a superb roster of vocal talents. The voices of Dustin Hoffman and especially Jack black are perfect and bring life to the characters. Every time I heard Jack Black I pictured Po with the same chubby stature. (For some reason I don’t picture a tiger when I hear Angelina Jolie speak and that’s not a complaint.) There are plenty of hilarious scenes and dialogue along with loads of action. The story also introduces kids to a different location and culture which will expand their horizons. This is pure family fun and I’m giving it a B+ rating.

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
