Jays Rating:

If you are a fan of the Saw movies (one through what ever they are up to now) you will probably enjoy the suspense, thriller Untraceable. Diane Lane plays a F.B.I. agent in the cyber crime division sent to track down a sicko who is kidnapping people and killing them slowly and shows them live dieing on the internet. She and her young partner played by Colin Hanks are constantly fighting against the clock because the more people who visit the untraceable website the faster the victim dies. Untraceable is unconvincing and isn’t your top of the line thriller. I never did understand how the killer picked his victims and why he used the internet. I was worried he was going to go after Al Gore since he supposedly invented the internet. The film was better then average with fine acting by Lane and Colin Hanks (son of Tom Hanks) who has his dad’s easy personality. It was sufficiently compelling and believe it or not highly watchable. I will probably forget about it in a month but for now it’s interesting enough to give it a C+ rating.

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
