Harry Potter fans will be excited that writer J.K. Rowling’s 5th book Harry Potter, Order of the Phoenix has now made it to the big screen. Daniel Radcliffe plays Harry Potter and it’s the beginning of his 5th year at Hogwarts, school for witchcraft and wizardry. This year at Hogwarts A new teacher arrives, the administration at the school appoints a new defense against the dark arts teacher and Harry forms a group called the Order of the Phoenix. This film is well crafted and the sound affects and music are fantastic. To all of the films detriment and this one is no different unless you have read the Harry potter books all of the movies are confusing because of so many characters and subplots. The 3 main characters performances are better since they are older but don’t expect to see much of Harry’s friends Ron and Hermione. (Maybe Harry made them disappear so he could grab more screen time. If you can’t seem to see enough of Daniel Radcliffe you can catch him on stage in a play called “Equus”. Now the play has a nude scene and yes his Harry Potter is showing. This film has lost a little more of it’s magic and I’m giving it a C+ rating.

This movie has been given a PG13 rating by the MPAA

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
