Most movie goers remember the film Bruce Almighty and that it is a funny film but at about 175 million the sequel Evan Almighty is supposed to be the most expensive comedy ever made. Steve Carell plays a newly elected congressman who is told by God who is played by Morgan Freeman to build an Ark because of an impending flood. He receives a book called Arks building for dummies, archaic tools, and gofer wood and then to the amusement of the public animals begins following him around two by two. This film has some plot holes, the script doesn’t take any chances and most of the time it isn’t a laugh out loud comedy. None of that matters when you have a film like this with good clean family fun and an inspirational message. The use of the music and the animals were perfect and I loved the way they used past and present biblical references to tie in Evan to Noah and the Ark. Thanks goodness they left out the part of the story where Noah became drunk and appeared naked before his sons. (See blindness is a blessing sometimes) People will be leaving the theater two by two with a big smile on their face and I’m giving it a B rating

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
