Premonition

Sandra Bullock hasn’t done a very good job in choosing good movies lately and she doesn’t fair much better in the suspense, thriller Premonition. Sandra Bullock plays a suburban housewife who wakes up one mourning to find her husband played by Julian McMahon has died in a car accident. After jumping forward and backward in time for a couple weeks she finally figures out she is having premonitions about the future and tries to make changes. (Unfortunately the viewer will take another couple weeks to also figure it out.) The major flaw in this film is the script. It has no focus, the ideas weren’t thought out and it has so many plot holes even I could see through it. It does a great job keeping you in suspense with a series of clues about why everything is happening but after a while you just want to say” lets get on with it”. A lot of people didn’t care for the conclusion of the movie but I kind of liked the non traditional ending. I’m giving this half hearted thriller a C rating.

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
