The Hitcher

Based on the 1986 film of the same name The Hitcher contains plenty of bloody violence for the average horror fan. Sophia Bush and Zachary Knighton play a college couple who are chased by a crazed hitchhiker played by Sean Bean on the roads of New Mexico while on their spring break. He continues to shadow the two students after trying to kill them and implicating them in a brutal slaying. This film is pointless and because there is no emotional relationship with the characters it isn’t even scary. You know the script is ridiculous after you see the hitchhiker takes out 3 police cars and a helicopter with a pistol. (Give me a break, I’m blind not stupid.) The one bright spot is that the movie is so fast paced it’s over in less then an hour and a half and I didn’t even have time to feel around for the exits to escape. I’m still not sure why they make junk like this except to give me a chance to give another D rating.

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
