Jays Rating:

College Campus Comedies haven’t changed much in 25 years and don’t expect anything new with the film Accepted. Justin Long plays a loser who just graduated from high school and is embarrassed to tell his parents he hasn’t been accepted into a college. He creates a college called South Harmond Institute of Technology and soon the rest of his loser friends want to go to S.H.I.T. (He obviously didn’t deserve to go to college because he wasn’t even smart enough to think of community college.) This film does have a few funny scenes. (It’s so few I don’t even remember them.) This is the same old script for this type of movie with slapstick comedy, sight gags with an anti-college theme. (Maybe the writer of the script should have gone to college. I didn’t expect any character or plot development and I wasn’t disappointed. Accepted was barely acceptable and I’m giving it a D rating.

This movie has been given a PG-13 rating by the MPAA

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
