King Arthur

Jays Rating:

The legend of King Arthur is reinterpreted in the latest action, drama film King Arthur. Almost one thousand years ago Arthur (Clive Owen) and his knights are about to leave Brittan except for one last order from the Roman Empire. Their last mission is to save a wealthy roman family from the invading Saxons where Arthur meets his future wife Guinevere (KeiraKnightley). This more realistic story about King Arthur is not about Damsels in distress, magic and shiny castles but about fighting and living in the cold, mud and the rain. It is a unique story and has great battle scenes but lacks the character development and passion like some other period pieces. I like to see the positive side of life so I’m going to say this is not a good film or a bad film. Of course in my mind I’m only blind in one eye, I just can’t see out of the other. I’m giving this average movie a C rating.
