The gang is back and as funny as before in the sequel Barber Shop 2: Back in Business. Calvin’s Barber Shop is threatened of going out of business when a big barber shop chain called Nappy Cut moves in across the street. It looks like I get my hair cut at Nappy Cut sometimes. The owner played by Ice Cube (Yes that’s his real name) tells his barbers, especially one barber played by Sedrick the Entertainer that while in the barber shop there will be no more trash talk, bad language and they must hug and be nice to the customers in order to be family friendly. The director has changed in this addition but did a great job in keeping up the feel of community spirit and with good jokes and one-liners is as funny as the first Barber Shop. I felt like I was watching an old episode of “Good Times” with J.J. the goofball. This film was very funny and I’m giving it a B rating.

This movie has been given a PG-13 rating by the MPAA
