Fighting Temptations

If you like rap, soft rock, rhythm and blues and gospel music you will probably enjoy the comedy Fighting Temptations. In this movie Cuba Gooding Jr. plays an advertising executive who is fired from his job. He thinks his luck has changed when he finds out his Aunt Sally has died and he has to go home and claim an inheritance. He enlist the help of his childhood sweetheart and singer played by Beyonce Knolls because to receive anything he has to lead the local church choir to the Gospel choir finals. This is your typical comedy with an on and off again relationship, secrets about his life and of course everything working out in the end. This film is not about the story but about the music. I’m definitely glad I could hear this sound track and I wish I could have seen Beyonce. It’s a fun movie but nothing special and I’m giving it a C rating.

This movie has been given a PG-13 rating by the MPAA
