Jeepers Creepers 2

The Creeper is back hunting a boy’s basketball team and its cheerleaders in the horror film Jeepers Creepers 2. Not only are cheerleaders involved in the really good scary movies but this time one of them is psychic. Now that is scary! When a busload of basketball players and cheerleaders have a flat tire in rural farming country the radio stops working and it becomes dark. What a big surprise. Soon an ugly creep or should I say Creeper (Jonathan Breck) begins attacking the bus and it’s occupants are picked off one by one. The teens begin arguing about who the Creeper wants to kill next because they want to lock the person outside to save themselves. Just as the Creeper demolishes the bus a farmer appears whose son was killed by the Creeper at the beginning of the movie. Believe it or not the farmer attacks the Creeper with a homemade harpoon. I’m sorry – I can’t go on. The Creeper in this film is ugly and gruesome but not terrorizing. The movie is bloody and violent but not scary. On a positive note, its full of uninteresting characters that everyone could care less about. In fact, I was hoping the Creeper would pick them off faster so that the film would end sooner. Even though the Creeper was quiet and I didn’t have to hear or see him, the movie somehow kept my attention. For this reason, I won’t give it lower then a D rating.
