Bad Boys II

There’s a movie this summer where you can watch dead bodies being run over by cars, people getting shot in the head, totally beautiful women and funny one-liners is in the action adventure Bad Boys 2. Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnette (Martin Lawernce) are back as two narcotics detectives who are part of a high teck task force sent to stop the smuggling of Ecstasy coming into Miami. The streets of Miami explode into gunfire as gangs fight for the drugs and the money. During one of the car chase scenes dozens of cars are destroyed. Of course no bystanders are killed when cars begin falling off a truck-car carrier and bounced around the freeway like Ping-Pong balls. During this time they are informally working with Marcuse’s sister Sydney (Gabrielle Union) who is a NSA agent and secretly dating Mike. When Sydney is kidnapped and taken to Cuba the boys take a specialized team to try and rescue her. This film is action-packed, very funny and at two and one half hours it doesn’t have a dull moment. I have only one complaint – I guess they felt Bad Boys mean bad language because it was so bad I wish I had been deaf instead of blind. Hey, you can’t have everything. This is one of the most entertaining movies of the year and I’m giving it a B rating.

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
