If you are looking for endless action, ingenious gadgets and beautiful women, nobody does it better then James Bond in The World is Not Enough. In this newest 007 film Bond, played by Pierce Brosnon feels responsible for the death of a British oil magnate and vows to protect his attractive daughter, Elecktra, played by lovely Sophie Marceau. When 007 arrives at her mansion, Elecktra is leaving to inspect a portion of her oil pipeline and she invites him to go along. While in the snowy mountains, Bond and Electra discover that a large quantity of plutonium is missing. The thieves catch them snooping around so they attack, but they both escape with the help of Bond’s gadgets and his fancy snow skiing. Later, Bond is introduced to one of Elecktra’s employees, a beautiful nuclear physicist named Dr. Christmas Jones, played by Denise Richards. Before he could initiate a meltdown, Bond grabbed Jones and jumped onto a sled at speeds of over one hundred m iles an hour inside the pipeline in order to catch and defuse a runaway bomb. Of course the bomb is defused, but Jones tells Bond that some of the plutonium is still missing. He finds out the rest is on a submarine in Istanbul, and Bond is off once again to save the world. Like most James Bond movies, this one is fun and entertaining. There was a plot, but it was hard to follow between all the action and the gorgeous women. Maybe I could be the next James Bond with all of the fancy gadgets and beautiful women. Of course, I would probably get stuck with someone like Roseanne Barr or Rosie O’Donnell. I give this enjoyable film a B rating.

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
