A movie that sounds like it has great special effects is The Matrix. Keanu Reeves plays Thomas Anderson, a.k.a. Neo, a computer program designer who is lured into a secret society so he can help awaken the world from an alien induced stasis. Neo is given two pills to choose from: a blue one that takes him back to the life he has known and understands, and a red one takes him forward into a multi-dimensional level of mental and physical reality. Sound like an easy choice? There’s one catch – there’s no turning back. Neo chooses the red pill -duh- and his “earthly” body is absorbed and replaced with his real body, which has an access port embedded at the base of his skull. A computer interface cable is inserted into the port and everything from piloting a helicopter to martial arts is downloaded directly into Neo’s brain. I wish something could be downloaded into my brain so I could become a race car driver. Neo uses these and other skills to . you’ll have to see the movie. This film is full of action but the plot is deep and a little hard to follow. Braille sub-titles would have been a big plus for me. I give this movie a B rating.

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
