Hey all you Trekkies out there, the long wait is finally over! The much anticipated Star Trek Insurrection has arrived and it was well worth the wait. The action begins with Star Fleet ordering Jean Luc Picard, played by Patrick Stewart, and the crew of the Enterprise to help capture their android crewmate Data, played by Brent Spiner. The Enterprise complies with Starfleet orders and the Captain and Warf, the Klingon security officer, take a shuttlecraft down to the planet’s surface. Once Data is located, Picard deactivates him and transports him back to the Enterprise for observation. (I’m still looking for an on-off switch for my wife when she acts strange.) Data is later reactivated, and an away-team is beamed down to the surface of the planet to find out what could have made him malfunction in the first place. While on the planet, Captain Picard discovers that a Starfleet Admiral is assisting an alien race in trying to relocate the inhabitants of the planet. In a running phaser fight with the aliens, the away-team moves the inhabitants of the planet into nearby mountain caves. While in space, two alien ships attack the Enterprise while under the command of William Riker, played by Jonathan Frakes. Of course Ryker kicks their Asteroids all over the Galaxy. The Enterprise warps back to the planet just in time to transport the Captain out of the last crippled alien ship. This is not only one of the best Star Trek films ever made, it’s also full of action, comedy, and great special affects. I give this film an A rating. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
