The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2

This is the second and final Twilight movie that Bill Condon will direct, and it features the final confrontation of the last book, The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2. With the birth of baby Renesmee to vampires Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and her husband Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), their lives are complete and they are happy. (Yes – blissful vampires.) That is until a vampire named Irena (Maggie Grace) sees Renesmee with Bella. Irena goes back to the Volduri’s – the lead vampire family – and tells them the baby is an immortal. (You’ll have to read the book or see the movie to understand.) In the meantime, Bella looses her temper when she finds out her werewolf friend, Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) has imprinted on Renesmee. Bella tries to kill Jacob, but his werewolf pack comes to his rescue. (Unless you’re a Twilighter, you’re totally confused by now!) Fortunately they make up, because the Cullins need help from both the werewolf and vampire families since the Volduri’s are coming to kidnap or kill Renesmee. Each film in the Twilight series has improved with more money, better directors, and impressive performances. (Yes, even Kristen Stewart sounds like she can act her way out of a paper bag – but only if it’s wet.) It has a nice amount of humor, it’s not too melodramatic, and it has some realistic action. The twist you may have heard about actually helps the film if it is missing from the book like I heard. (No even if I could see I wouldn’t be reading the book to find out) This film is still silly at times with corny dialogue, a story that is unbelievable and not enough material, even after cutting the book in half. I don’t want any nasty emails from the women out there, so I’ll give this film a B- rating.

This movie has been given a PG13 rating by the MPAA

Although I am blind, I can appreciate a good movie as well as sighted individuals.
I rely more on a good story line than special effects.
