The Devil's Rejects

Every once in a while I have a guest critic review films on my website. I have had a kid’s critic and now I’m excited to have Thomas Holland a teenage critic. I’m impressed with his knowledge of the cinema, his assessment of a good or bad film and his love of the movies. So Thomas thanks for your review and I’ll see you at the movies. Well since I’m blind I won’t see you there but you know what I mean.

The Devil’s Rejects
review by Thomas Holland

In the follow- up of Rob Zombie’s “House of 1,000 Corpses”, The Devil’s Rejects continues. This R rated movie stars Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding, Bill Moseley as Otis Sheri Moon as BabyWilliam Forsythe as Sheriff Wydell and Ken Foree as Charlie Altamont. Sheriff Wydell follows Captian Spaulding, Otis and Baby to avenge his brother’s death. Along this trail of murder and revenge you see the sadistic and violent characters hold up a roadside hotel and kill all of the hostages.

In my opinion, the only “plot” I saw was the vengance of a brother’s death. There were people walking out of the theatre left and right. The highlight of this movie was making fun people. But ofcourse, seeing the bad movies makes this review go much smoother. I give this movie a “D” rating because there wasn’t enough of a plot, there was no continuation of Dr. Satan’s madness and using the word Devil makes you believe there is a Devil in this and he’s no where in sight.

A rating – He isn’t throwing his popcorn at anyone.
B rating – Worth the popcorn expense.
C rating – Make it a stay at home night.
D rating – Nothing’s popping here.
