Spoofs on the show cops, the movie Mission Impossible and the red carpet walk at the Academy Awards make the animated film Shrek 2 the Sequel a must-see. The ogre Shrek (voice by Mike Meyers) and his new bride Fiona (voice by Cameron Diaz) now also an ogre along with donkey (voice by Eddie Murphy) aren’t home long until Fionas mother and father invite them to visit them in a land far far away. Clever writing, a charming story, upbeat music, fantastic animation (from what I heard) and hilarious jokes that only the adults will understand make this film as good as the first one. There are new characters as well as our old favorites like the gingerbread man, Pinocchio and the three blind mice. Okay, I like the 3 blind mice and for some reason people say the blind mouse in the middle looks like me. I loved this movie and I’m giving it an A rating.
